Missing Mine Branch...

Hello Pards,
It's been a long time and I'm missing my pards at Mine Branch. It really hit me the other day when I picked up an old album filled with photos from our very first match through our second or third year. All those familiar faces including pictures of some dear friends like Old Fuzz and Captain Parker who are no longer with us that really brought back precious memories and a smile to my face. Right then is when I believe it finally sank in that there are too many of those dear friends like Fuzz and Parker that are also no longer with us. I've been so wrapped up in my own little world for the past two years that I haven't kept in touch the way I should...and I regret that. Again, I miss you folks and hopefully things will change here at home allowing me the chance to be back where I always loved to be. ~ HT

I miss it too, HT, see the last shoot had 47 people, always 60 or more when I went to the mine branch, but nothing lasts forever. It was a great ride and will always be the highlight of my life. I no longer compete, cost to high, now I just go fishing out the backyard on our lake, the wife caught a 28 lb catfish and a 12 lb Big Mouth Bass. Got a few myself. Just finished getting a pool installed and its a welcome relief. Playing Tennis instead of cowboying, but get my cowboy duds on for local dancing, fits right in here in cowboy country. At least the thread keeps us in touch.

I have noticed the thread is no longer used much, sad.
